If you’re a student who lives anywhere outside the city limits, you’ve most likely
used the public transport system. Our beloved bus #33 will take you from
Coimbatore Central right to DJAD’s doorstep (or close enough).
The pin code 6410-32 refers to the little highway settlement we’re located in -Othakkalmandapam. Just call it 32 to lessen the effort that comes with trying
to pronounce it. It’ll take you 45 minutes to get here if you board at the
main entrance of the Railway station. Got it? Now get here.

Here at Devarajulu Jayavarthanavelu Academy of Design (DJAD) we like wide open spaces (with crows and cows) to breathe, to be free, to create, ideate and innovate.
We’re relatively new in the design scene but we’re alive and kicking! By the way, DJ Academy of Design is the only design academy in the State of Tamil Nadu. Also worth mentioning is that we are NOT a Music OR Fashion and Textile design Institute though we sometimes try our hands at it.
Our learning happens at all hours of the day and night (Official working hours are from 6 in the morning to midnight). A 24x7 learning experience is what we call it.
We love what we do and we’d love it even more if we could share it with YOU.
There are two streams available for both PG and UG Programs:

- Industrial Design
